Biljana is actively involved in implementation of security solutions and consultancy in information security management systems. She manages the ISMS implementation projects for leading companies in Croatia, consults clients in business continuity and disaster recovery management solutions and performs information systems audits for financial institutions. Biljana has a strong experience in developing information security programmes, risk assessments and management, business continuity management and information systems auditing. She is holding CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) and CISM (Certified Informatoin Security Manager) professional certificates by ISACA. She is one of the initiators and organizers of the first international information security conference in Croatia - InfoSeCon, and also an author of a number of scientific and professional papers as well as speaker at professional seminars and conferences.
InfoSec Certifications Demystified
This session will present requirements for obtaining the most wanted vendor-neutral information security certifications. It will be explained what information security knowledge and experience are required in order to obtain valuable professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CBCP and others. There will be given an overview of assignments that are covered by the certified professional's everyday work depending on his job characteristics and role within an organization. The presentation will also give an insight to managers on how to choose between a variety of certifications which should benefit the most to both their companies and employees that are to achieve them.
